Our Mission

Welcome to IndianClassicalMusic.com. We are on a mission to catalog the rich and nuanced art and technicalities of Hindustani Classical Music with video demonstrations.

One of the most ancient arts that has evolved over centuries, its minutiae are better explained through demonstrations. It is meant to be a reference for anyone looking to learn more about Indian Classical Music. With authenticity in mind, we are carrying out extensive research on each and every topic and taking guidance from authentic sources such as Abhinav Geetanjali by Pt. Ramashreya Jha, Hindustani Sangeet Paddhati by Pt. Bhatkande, and others.

It is important to note that the video encyclopedias are meant to be a reference and that Hindustani Classical Music is best learned in a Guru-Shishya parampara (Teacher-Student tradition).
